Interview with Nicolas Pettex-Muffat, General Manager of Junot
The Junot Group strengthens its management team by appointing Nicolas Pettex-Muffat as Managing Director. Interview with this recognized expert in luxury real estate.
From the start of your career, you chose to devote yourself to residential real estate brokerage. Why this orientation?
I have always had a real appetite for this field. At the beginning of my career, I wanted to invest in a sector where profiles like mine – that is to say “programmed” to join an international group, a bank or a consulting firm – were underrepresented. This choice reflected my desire to contribute to something significant, by going against the usual expectations. Since then, I have never regretted this decision.
Why did you choose to integrate Junot?
I fully share the founding family's vision of our business: establishing a lasting relationship with our clients by supporting them throughout their residential journey, well beyond the current transaction. In practice, this state of mind, deeply rooted at Junot, has concrete impacts. Consultants work in a truly collaborative mode. The fluidity in the flow of information creates a pleasant working environment while guaranteeing excellent results. This, in my opinion, is what explains the great loyalty of the teams, a key factor in the quality of the service provided. And, by ricochet, that of our customers, who feel it.
A good indicator: the proportion of exclusive sales mandates at Junot is exceptional in the real estate sector in France. Concretely, our former customers come back to us with complete confidence and recommend us. In addition, the impeccable quality of our management and rental services also contributes significantly to our success.

What do you think you can bring to Junot?
Tools, in particular, to allow consultants to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on their clients. A network as well. Foreign partners who will strengthen Junot's integration among the major brokers recognized internationally, with whom we are in daily contact. It is essential to remember that, in the high-end segment, foreign buyers are traditionally very numerous. In Paris, in certain neighborhoods and for certain types of property, they sometimes represent the majority.
