The Arc de Triomphe: just a 15-minute walk from Place Victor Hugo is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe stands in the center of Place Charles-de-Gaulle. Inspired by ancient arches, it bears the names of battles and generals of the revolution and the First Empire. It is the symbol of the French capital.

 

The Ennery Museum: in this sumptuous mansion a collection of objects illustrating the daily life and beliefs of China and Japan, from the 16th to the 19th century, are exhibited.

 

The Palais Galliera: housed in a magnificent mansion, the Fashion Museum of the City of Paris has collections of 200,000 works, from the 18th century to the present day, illustrating the evolution of clothing and haute couture.

 

The Saint-Honoré d'Eylau Church: this pretty church built at the end of the 19th century seduces with its original architecture and design. It also has incredible stained glass windows.

Green spaces close to Victor Hugo

The 16th arrondissement is fortunate to be located near one of the most beautiful parks in Paris, the Bois de Boulogne. It offers numerous pedestrian paths, cycle paths and play areas for children. Not far away, the gardens of Avenue Foch border the famous avenue and are decorated with nearly 800 trees.
